Ruairi O ́Connor is a dynamic magician and mind reader with the ability to connect you to the fantastic otherworldly side of life.
Challenge
To create an engaging logo and visual language for this brand and incorporate this on his business cards, posters and website guidance.
Solution
I incorporated elements from both contemporary style and design features from classic posters from the 1900s. To maximise the successful impact of this design a current handwriting feel was also applied. Dynamism is a key element in the work of Ruairi and so this has been reflected in the design across it’s branding.
Poster Design
I designed the typography from scratch to provide a design with an authentic and distinctive look and differentiate Ruairi from other professionals in the field. Most of the graphic elements have been hand drawn and then have been digitally adapted afterwards.
The creation of this poster was inspired by the Victorian era. For the convenience of the client, promotional material was made available for easy editing so it can be amended as required. It took its form through sketching and then post digitalisation, I created a template.
